OUAI Detox Shampoo

OUAI's Detox Shampoo is a clarifying wash with chelating agents — built to strip product buildup, chlorine, and the minerals hard water leaves behind. That last part is the real reason it belongs in a routine abroad: much of the US runs harder water than Taipei or Seoul, and dense Asian hair holds that mineral film until it reads dull, stiff, and strangely unresponsive to products that used to work. Used once every week or two in place of your normal shampoo, it resets the hair so your mask and your color can reach it. It strips rather than moisturizes, so always follow with a conditioner or mask, and do not use it every wash — on bleached hair that would leave it straw-like.
